L2 Fine Art, is perhaps the premier fine-art mounting, laminating and framing company in the country. We have extensive experience in gallery and exhibition work, and we’d like to have the opportunity to work for you.
We’ve worked with many of the greatest photographers of the world, including Avedon, Hiro, Neil Selkirk, David LaChapelle, Frances Scavullo, and many many others. We use the finest possible materials, and combine them with old-fashioned craftsmanship, reasonable pricing, and 100% integrity.
Photos generally have to be mounted in order to be exhibited, to keep them from “buckling”. Once they are mounted, they may be framed or exhibited “frameless”. The most popular exhibition mounting materials are Sintra, Aluminum, Dibond and Plexiglas.
All of these products are considered “archival”, and conform to modern conservation standards. Our work is second to none, and our aim is to make sure you’re completely satisfied with the process and the product. In every way, our approach is collaborative. We’ll sample jobs fully, and we’ll work with you in every way, on specifications, turnaround, and of course, price. You can also count on us for messengering, crating and shipping throughout the world.
We also have a close working relationship with the finest fine-art photo printers in New York City. In that regard, we can see that you are provided with a complete project, printed and mounted and framed.
All the processes for mounting fine-art photos described on these pages apply to Chromagenic prints (analog and digital C Prints), as well as giclee or pigment or digital inkjet prints. Certain papers and inks and printers may have special properties; please speak with our customer service representatives if you have unusual papers or ink delivery methods. We are happy to test and sample any materials you may have.
